Introduction

Welcome to the Kuwaiti Board of Internal Medicine (KBIM) program information guide.

The KBIM program was established in 1987 as one of the first postgraduate training programs in the country. Today, it's one of the largest Internal Medicine residency program in the world, with nearly 200 residents, 300 clinical tutors, 80 different rotations across many subspecialties and training sites covering the entire population of the country.

The program has graduated hundreds of Internal Medicine specialists who have become experts and leaders in Internal Medicine and its different subspecialties.

We strive to build a dynamic and innovative program that evolves continuously to become a world-class program in training and to be the strong backbone of healthcare service in the country.
