Internal Medicine — Program Information

Career Paths after KBIM

We are proud of the diversity of career paths that our Program's graduates pursue after completing their Internal Medicine Training. Many KBIM graduates excel in Internal Medicine and become leaders in the field focusing on clinical work.

Other residents prefer to subspecialize in one of the fields of Internal Medicine and pursue further training in subspecialties such as Endocrine & Metabolism, Obstetric Medicine, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Intensive Care, and many other subspecialties.

In addition to their medical qualifications, many of our graduates pursue interests in teaching and education, research, quality improvement and patient safety, and leadership. Our program gives residents a chance to experience all of those aspects, in addition to the variety of clinical experiences in different subspecialties of Internal Medicine.
