Program Evaluation & Improvement
The Internal Medicine Program is committed to maintaining high-quality healthcare delivery in a constantly evolving medical field. To ensure our physicians are well-prepared for this dynamic environment, we conduct ongoing evaluations. These evaluations cover various aspects of the program, including:
- Program Structure: We assess the program's length, rotations, and assessment methods.
- Curriculum: We review our curriculum, including the tools and resources we use.
- Rotations: We monitor the quality of our rotations to provide a well-rounded learning experience.
- Faculty: We evaluate our tutors and instructors to ensure they meet our teaching standards.
The evaluation methods and frequency vary depending on the area being assessed. We collect data through resident feedback from rotation and tutor evaluations, as well as resident performance evaluations in their fields. This process helps us continuously improve, ensuring our physicians are well-prepared for the changing healthcare landscape.
