Internal Medicine — Rotation Detail

GI at Armed Forces Hospital

Tutors

This rotation offers comprehensive training in gastroenterology across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings. Residents manage acute GI emergencies (e.g., GI bleeding, IBD flares), chronic disease clinics, high-volume endoscopy procedures, and advanced diagnostics. Daily educational activities (morning meetings, grand rounds), simulation-based procedural training, and exposure to technologies like capsule endoscopy and Fibroscan are integrated. A 24/7 emergency service ensures hands-on urgent care experience.
