This rotation enables residents to identify, evaluate, diagnose, and manage inpatient and outpatient strait foreword and complex disorders in the field of rheumatology.
Residents attend the clinics3 to 4 days per week, at the same time they do see new consults in the wards and follow up our old inpatient consult until discharge to ensure that they are capable to put a clear plan before discharge.
Teaching is incorporated in the clinics and during inpatient consultations.
We do joint injection work shop on manikins, which is an excellent opportunity to learn different joints injections and aspiration.
They are allowed to do simple procedures under our supervision.
Every Thursday is an academic day where each resident prepare a topic to present to our unit, we do also a power point presentations with discussion to them at least twice a week
