Residents will be assigned roles as part of the GI Unit team in covering inpatient consultation, occasional direct admissions from endoscopy suite and/or outpatient clinics. Observation of endoscopic procedures as well as motility studies and capsule endoscopy. Residents will do on calls as part of the medical unit and have access to seeing a variety of GI and Non GI acute cases. Residents will be asked to present in the Journal club a minimum once during the rotation.
