Although relatively small, the rheumatology service at Jaber Hospital is becoming increasingly busy every day. We have a buzzing outpatient service (including 2 multi-specialty MDTs) and a very interesting inpatient service. This rotation aims to expose learners to a variety of case presentations to ensure adequate coverage of basic topics in rheumatology, as well as provide a systematic approach to some of the less common but more complex cases in the field. Mannequins are also available for simulated injection teaching. We encourage trainees to identify their goals early on in the rotation as our focus is resident-directed learning tailored to their needs.

The recommended number of residents at this time in 1 per rotation.
