Dr Almutawa is a Consultant in Internal Medicine and Adult Critical Care Medicine at Al-Amiri Hospital. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Kuwait University in 2007 and residency in Internal Medicine through the Kuwaiti Board of Internal Medicine in 2014. Following this, he became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in London, the United Kingdom in 2015. His advanced training includes a Clinical Fellowship in Adult Critical Care Medicine in 2017 from the University of Toronto, Canada. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he serves as a Clinical Tutor and Site Coordinator for various residency training programs with the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specializations (KIMS), and is an active member of Internal Medicine In-Training Examination Committee. He also holds the position of Assistant Program Director for the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program (KIMS) contributing to the assessment, education, and development of future medical professionals.
